Firstly, Happy New Year!!! Can you believe that we are in 2015!!! Where did 2014 go?? I had a quiet New Year’s at home as my husband went out fishing but I got to watch 2 movies of my choice so I had a good night!!
Now when I first saw the Butterfly Basics stamp set and matching thinlits, from the new Occasions catalogue, I loved them! and since I’ve had a play, I think I love them more!! They are so pretty!! I cut out a large butterfly to check out the size and it is big, but I’ve just stuck it to the wall in my craft room and it looks so lovely!!
You know I love a good sketch and I did a recent sketch from Mojo Monday.
So, I’ve used the free Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. I literally used both sides of the one sheet of paper. I just love how it all co-ordinates!!
Here’s a closer look at the butterfly.
I found a tip to use dryer sheets in the layers on the big shot underneath the card stock, and it made such a difference in getting the little pieces out of the butterfly. I will be doing this with all my fiddly dies now!
Happy Stamping!!
Rebecca
