23 January 2014 – It’s in the Box!!

Well, there was something in the box until I gave it to my friend for Christmas!!!

We made these boxes at my December Stamp Club and the ladies loved them!! We used the Extra-large gift boxes which are still available in the Seasonal catalogue up to 1 February. Now, these boxes are huge!!! Well, they are 15.2cm x 15.2cm x 11.1cm. But they are a lot bigger than I had realised!! Just means that you can fit a bigger present inside them. (Hey, honey, do you need to use one of these for my birthday present on the weekend!! hehehe!!)

So we used the Winter Frost DSP stack and the Season of Style stack and the large coordinating packs as well to do the square on the top. I love the silver and gold foil sheets. They are a nice thickness, not too thick but not too flimsy either. Perfect for cutting out with the Merry from the Expression thinlits. You need to be patient about taking the paper out of the die, do it slowly and you will be rewarded with awesomeness!!

We then ran the gift bow die through the big shot and voila, we have a fabulous bow!! So easy to put together.

When the class was finished, I whipped up the extras, and used them for my Christmas gifts for friends!! I think they liked them!
